According to Nike, the Air Max Dn simply marks the start of ‘the first wave of many upcoming Nike Air innovations’. Blending together elements of both old and new, the silhouette’s most defining feature comes from its heel cushioning set-up, which boasts four large round Nike Air-filled pods for unrivalled cushioning.
As for its uppers, the Air Max Dn looks to be built from a woven fabric, which comes topped with textured detailing that follows the contours of the silhouette. The model’s midfoot shank is also a stand-out detail. This particular colourway sees the shank arrive in a purple-toned gradient, and a similar finish has been applied to the heel counters, too. Eagle-eyed Swoosh fans will also have noticed that the Air Max Dn’s logos look very similar to those seen on the Air Max Plus, which leads us to believe that ‘Dn’ stands for ‘Dynamic Air’, or something similar.
